Benue State University (BSU) Orientation / Matriculation Ceremony Schedule, Academic Gown Collection Details 2020/2021

 Benue State University, Makurdi, BSU matriculation form date, venue and time for the2020/2021 academic session. The exposure programme date and procedure for the collection of academic gowns for the matriculation form are also available below. 

 BSU matriculation form date 

 This is to inform recently admitted scholars of the Benue State University, Makurdi (BSUM), the University Community and the general public that the2020/2021 operation of the institution has blazoned the Matriculation/ Exposure for new scholars. 

BSU Orientation/ Matriculation Ceremony Schedule, Other Details 

.1. The 29th Matriculation Ceremony for fresh undergraduates scholars of the Benue State University, Makurdi for the2020/2021 academic session is listed as follows

 Venue New Convocation Square 

 

 2. All Star Officers and Members of Senate shall process. Heads of Units and other members of staff are requested to attend the occasion. 

3. Elders and Heads of Departments are requested to liaise with the Directorate of ICT or Faculty ICT staff to pierce the list of registered scholars in their Faculties and Departments. They should insure that all good campaigners of their separate programmes are duly registered. 

 

 4. The exposure for listed scholars is slated for Wednesday, 9th and Thursday, 10th February 2022 at the New Convocation Square. The Exposure and Matriculation Committee will release details of the exercise. 

5. Faculty Officers are to commence allocation of matriculation gowns to registered scholars of their separate Faculties as from Monday, 7th February 2022. Each pupil will be needed to collect a matriculation gown on payment of one thousand Naira (N1,)non-refundable figure at Fidelity Bank Plc, account number 5030023693 and Zenith Bank, account number 1011136506. 

 

 6. Campaigners would present the bank damage to their Faculty Officers for collection of the particulars as in (5) over. Faculty Officers are to keep bills of gowns issued to campaigners. 

7. The Academic Office will issue applicable matriculation gowns to the Faculty Officers for onward release to registered fresh scholars of separate faculties who would have paid the figure of N1, as in (5) over. 

 

 8. All Senate members are to detail staff to collect their Academic Gowns from the Academic Office for the form, please. 

9. Fresh scholars should return matriculation gowns to the Faculty Officers for onward submission to the Academic Office on or before 18th February 2022. 

 

 10. Late return of gowns will attract a forfeiture of N100.00 per day, outstanding to the Bursary Department of the University. 

11. All fresh scholars are to download from the University Portal (www.bsum.edu.ng) and bring to the Exposure/ Matriculation Form
