National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) 2022 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation Course To Commence February 23

 National Youth Service Corps, NYSC 2022 Batch‘A’Stream I Orientation Course will commence on February 23, 2022.

 This is to inform all prospective Corps members that the Operation of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has blazoned the date for the inception of the 2022 Batch‘A’Stream I and II Exposure Course. 

 Operation of the Scheme has listed the 2022 Batch‘A’Stream I and II Exposure course to commence on Wednesday, 23rd February 2022, and Friday, 18th March 2022 independently Nationwide. 

 

 The NYSC 2022 Batch‘A’Stream I Orientation Course is listed to commence in all the NYSC Orientation Camps as follows 

 

 Commencement/ Registration Wednesday, 23rd February 2022 – Sunday, 27th February 2022. 

 The cut-off date for Registration Sunday, 27th February 2022. 

Swearing-in Ceremony Tuesday, 1st March 2022. 

 Ending Form Tuesday, 15th March 2022. 

 The NYSC 2022 Batch‘A’Stream II Orientation Course is listed to commence in all the NYSC Orientation Camps as follows 

 Inception/ Registration Friday, 18th March 2022 – Tuesday, 22nd March 2022. 

 The cut-off date for Registration Tuesday, 22nd March 2022 

. Swearing-in Ceremony Wednesday, 23rd March 2022. 

 Ending Form Thursday, 7th April 2022. 

All Prospective Corps Members must present themselves for COVID-19 test at the camp before enrollment. 

 

 Prospective Corps members are to fill COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) tone reprinting form and print verification slip to be presented in camp for COVID-19 test. 

All prospective Corps Members slated for the 2022 Batch‘A’Stream I & II Orientation Course are advised to do to their separate camps as stated on their Call-up Letters. Foreign- trained graduates are to report to the camp with their Transnational Passport and original clones of all uploaded documents. 

 

 Prospective Corps Members are explosively advised not to embark on night trip to the Orientation Camps in order not to jeopardize themselves. They're also advised to break the trip is going beyond6.00 pm and pass the night in military or police barracks, NYSC Secretariats, Corps Lodges and other safe places. PCs should diligently read the Call-up letters as they contain all applicable information and guidelines. 

Parents and Guardians are enjoined to advise their wards to be security conscious and not board vehicles by the roadside or vehicles unrecorded with the NURTW While traveling to Camp. They're advised to use only government approved motor premises in order not to fall prey to culprits. They should inversely be admonished on the troubles of traveling at night. 

 

 We wish to inform Nigerians that all COVID-19 safety protocols will be rigorously stuck to in the Orientation Camps. We've partnered the NCDC and State Health Officers to insure COVID-19 free Orientation Camps. Lison security agencies is on going to insure the safety of Corps Members. Enquiries where in mistrustfulness should be made and NYSC will readily give information. 

National Diploma (ND) Certificate will be presented in addition to other applicable documents by Prospective Corps Members of Mono Polytechnics aspre-condition for enrollment at the Orientation Camps nationwide. 

 

 Prospective Corps Members are explosively advised not to present any fake document for enrollment at the Orientation. Camp Management has put in place acceptable ministry to clampdown and make anyone caught. 

In the event of loss of Call-up Letter, the prospective Corps Member who collected the Call-up letter from his her institution is advised to gain Police Report and Swom Affidavit and later report to the institution of scale for further necessary action. Those who originally published their Call-up Letters on- line can manufacture the Call up Letter in the case of Loss. 

 

 Any person who fails to report for service in the Service Corps as directed in the Call up Letter and/ or refuses to make himself available for service in the Service Corps shall be promoted in line with the vittles of Section 13sub-section 1 (a) and (b) of the NYSCS Act, Cap. N84 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. 

 Also, any person who isn't eligible to share in the Service Corps or has been properly issued with a Certificate of National Service or Certificate of Exemption but so actors to participates shall be fulfilled in line with Section 13sub-section2 (a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap N84 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. 

 

 In observance of COVID-19 protocols, Prospective Corps Members are to report to camp rigorously on the dates quested on their Call-up Letters and abide by all COVID-19 non pharmaceutical interventions including washing of hands at designated points at the Orientation Camps. The staggered date of reporting to presentation by Prospective Corps Members is to avoid overcrowding and insure physical and social distancing Every Prospective Corps Member is thus anticipated to come to come to camp with enough face masks and particular pockets-size hand Sanitizer.

PCM are to note that effective 1st December 2021, all Civil Civil Retainers ( including Corps Members) will be needed to show substantiation of COVID-19 Vaccination before they're allowed access into services and exposure camps).  All married pregnant and nursing maters not stationed to their separate misters’ places of fireside can now do to the NYSC Orientation Camps within their consorts’ Countries of hearthstone for Orientation course. Still they're to present for enrollment, in addition to other applicable documents
